Hi Family;
Well it has been a very busy week. I got to go to a special meeting for only missionary leaders. I got to represent the French sisters. My comp for the day was a sister from the dutch side. We set our goals for the year for the whole mission. I got to meet a lot of really neat people and it was a meeting and a day that I learned so much. I loved every minute of it. Wow. It was just amazing.
I got to see how nurses and how police officers work in Belgium this week. That was fun to see both of my parents jobs in action. A recent convert- nini- her husband had pectoral angina and so we went to see him in the hospital yesterday. It was fun to chat with him and he is starting to soften up to the gospel. Then… my wallet got stolen on Friday night so I had to go spend most of my pday in the police station. The officers were nice and between their English and my French; I got it worked out. I only had 20 Euros in cash so now the only problem is that I am cardless. I do have 100 dollars and some 2 dollar bills that I am going to exchange today so I can have money for the next 3 weeks. We have a lot of wonderful new people to teach and so many great people progressing. Teaching in both languages is pretty crazy but starting to get better. I had a cold and that turned off my ability to speak in one language at a time. I speak a lot of Frang-anglais as it is but I would start a thought in ,y head in English and finish it in French. I had a rough weekend teaching in one language. Today was writing the word Personal Items on a form of things that were stolen and wrote Personal Idems.. Idems means diddo in French. It has continued to be rough between the languages but I feel all better for sure.
I have to run. We are going to get dinner with the other Brussles sisters and then we are going to FHE with some of our investigators. Oh- if you have written me in the last 2 months and I haven’t written you back know that I caught up with all my letters last week and was going to buy stamps but that is not an option without a card so you will get in 3 weeks.
No carbondixoide checker… not even a smoke alarm but the apartment just needs a washer and I will be so happy
