New email address, new mission, same old me

Breaking news! My new email address is: jordan.hulet@myldsmail.net

Things are pretty crazy around here! With a baptism next week and zone conference and exit interviews… and the sisters sleep over at the mission home tonight… We are busy! We have met a lot of wonderful people this last week. Do you remember me telling you about Constance? She is the one that I stopped on the street doing a consecrated hour with Sr Grandfils. Anyway. She is progressing and is so cool. She had to work today but is so excited to come with us to church next week.

Nadege was so happy today at church. She is so ready to be baptized. She and I sat together at church and she just read her Book of Mormon and prayed and was so attentive. I love her. She had her interview and Elder Caywood said that he was shocked by how strong her testimony is and how strong she is in the gospel. Please take a little time and pray for her this week. The week of baptisms are always rough and a lot of opposition tends to happen.

This last week I got to go on an exchange with Soeur England (she’s the one who emailed you for me). We had so much fun and we had so many miracles. Rachel came on a few pass bys and we got to teach the restoration to a girl from Rwanda. She lost almost everything in the genocide. No movie or documentary can even begin to help you understand what she went through. She watched her father slaughtered. She has siblings that they haven’t heard from since childhood and it is just her mom, her and her brother. Her mother was attacked back then and is partially paralyzed on one side. When I asked them who God is to them…. They bore the most beautiful testimony of Him. “He is EVERYTHING to me. I have so much because of Him.” I was shocked. They are elect and I am excited for the Louise sisters to continue to work with them.

All of the sisters are going to Bruges tomorrow to see what there is to see and be together one last time with Sister Brubaker. We are going over to the President’s house right now.

I am starting to come to terms with it all but I am not sure how to take it. I just hope that I can find the good from this and be positive about it. I love the Brubakers, but I can honestly say that I have tried to do everything they have asked of me my whole mission…and since he has asked me to learn to love this new president, I will.

We have Zone conference this week. We will meet our new president and have short interviews. Crazy stuff

I have to run!

Love you

Sr Hulet
