Paris in the spring time

Hello everyone,
We have had a lot of neat things happen this week! Marie Clair is doing so well. She came to a baptism on Friday and was very excited. She told everyone that she will be baptized. She is so great. Marie is doing well too. She came to the baptism and loved it. It was the first one she'd been to, even though she has been meeting with the sisters for almost a year. Magalie is also doing very well. She has finally KICKED HIM OUT. Whoot. We are all very happy, esspecially her.
I had my exchange in Paris. Soeur Lee is amazing and we were good friends in the MTC. She is from Vegas and is just a lot of fun. We got to Paris and went right to work. We had 2 RDVs set up at the church, a recent convert and a really fun congolais girl. We set a baptismal date with the investigator and it was way cool to see how happy she was. The apartment is small. The shower is in the kitchen and that is kinda strange. But the apartment is still very nice and clean. We went running along the Sein river. Wow, so Parisian!
I came back to Brussels and back to a lot of fun work. We had 3 baptisms in the other ward and it was so cool. I know 2 of the 3 very well and have become their friends at FHE. They are both super people who are really ready. So fun. One of them is actually the son of a family in Charleroi that I know very well. It was fun to see everyone.
On Saturday we got to check our email and get transfer news. That is a very different rule from the old mission; but kinda makes sense. I was shocked that I was going back to that city that I served in on my exchange. CRAZY. I am excited though.
We met up with Rachel at the Louise church and had a lesson there. We then practiced our musical number for church and then we ate Foufou with the zone leaders and a lot of their investigators and recent converets. It was a good night.
On the way home that night we met Merida. Now we meet a lot of people everyday but she just stood out. She is from Ecquador, lives right by us and is very believing. She belongs to a south american church that believes that Christ appeared to the people in Central America, after his resurection... hummm;....interesting- me too! We shared the BOM with her and told her that we would bring her one in Spanish. She is so excited and Soeur clark has been reading Spanish pamplets to learn the words to she can teach her in Spanish. She really is cool. I am sad that I wont get to know her better.
Church was nice. It was good to talk to the members and say goodbye to them. Rachel, Soeur Clark and I sang in church. It was fun to do it.
We were invited over to dinner with the Barackets family. He is from Congo, she is from Rawanda. They are the NICEST people ever: They lived in Utah for 5 years and so we had a lot to talk about. It is crazy that they lived in Provo when I did. Wow. She taught me to make FouFou. Yep, I am the FouFou campion and he helped me to perfect my foufou respecting skills. She gave me her recipe for the pork ribs and cabbage she made. She said that you can make it anywhere, even Utah. I think Uncle Kerry would really like it. I might send it to him. wow... I LOVE AFRICANS.
We were supposed to go to a concentration camp today, but with packing and shopping and all we just didnt have time. I had to buy a new suitcase. Lets just say that my old one lived through Russia, Ukraine, Brussels and Charleroi... Really, anything that makes it out of Charleroi without acid rain damage should be respected... so I am sad to say that it is going to the Monde des esprits (spirit world)
Gota run,
Soeur Hulet
