July 5, 2010

Hey family,

I hope everything is going well. Wow, I have so much to tell you.

So, Lets start with last week.... No real work got done in my city because of apartment finding. Then on Thursday morning I had to say goodbye to my 'daughter' and that was sad. She is excited to go home and start her mission papers. Elder Watson of the 70 came and spoke to all the missionaries in Paris. It was fun to see him and his wife. They are going to Tuachann next week and the promised to think of me as they drive by Cedar. All of the talks that day were really good and I learned a lot. I met up with my new companions there. Sister Wilson and Sister Howell. It is so sad that I only get to serve with them for 6 days. They are wonderful and I love having 2 other companions. We laugh a lot. Soeur Wilson is an opera singer and so she is always off singing and that is fun. We have just had a good time and I love the Melun ward. I have never been welcomed into a ward like this. Last night we had a 4th of July BBQ at a members house. It was very nice of them. We had watermelon and all. Oh, it was fun.

I will not be transferred from Nogent. my little 'vacation' to melun will end on Wednesday morning and I will be serving with Soeur Flood. She and I have not been around each other for a long time. She left Bruxelles when I went and so it will be fun to see her. She is great and about as tall as me and we have had a lot of fun together. Soeur Otron and I served and exchange with Soeur flood in Leige once.

I am excited to get to work... But first we have to find an APARTMENT. AHHH . Not fun, but neither is death by mold and that is the other option.

Kalvin's baptism is Saturday. WHOOT. We have been praying for this for 2 months and now it will happen. All is good. I will make the program today and then we will be on our way. His interview is on Wednesday and then all will be ready.

There wernt any questions to answer... So I hope all is well and you liked all the pictures I sent last week.
Have fun,

Soeur Hulet
