Hey family,
I am so excited for Jared! I was thinking Spain, but Honduras sounds really cool!!
Well, my life just keeps getting busier and busier. We are teaching a lot, some how I look like someone who can put a thanksgiving feast togeter for 9 Elders and 5 sisters... I do not know how I got volunteered for that....
THEN this morning I was putting the grocery's into the caddy and the phone rang. Soeur Woyak answered it and the next think I know she is handing me the phone with a worried look on her face.. Saying... ''IT IS THE ASSISTANTS!'' So, there I am, putting the groceries away and my dear friend Elder Jurrus saying ''Sister Hulet, we have know each other a long time and I have a question to ask you. Will you play the violin at the Christmas zone conference. If it is too stressful, I understand, but we, along with President, would like you to do this.'' I politely declined and told him that with all that is going on and with another baptismal service that week(I will fill you in on that later) I just can't. He then said '' Well, you really don't have a choice. I really want to hear you play and I know that if I pull the friend card again you will do it for us. Not as the assistants but as your friends.'' I tried to get out of it again, but I am now going to be doing something for the conference. AHHHH. Mom, I really don't want to put a lot of time into practicing. Can you get my Mannheim Steamroller book out and scan the Silent Night violin and piano for me? If you can do it today I can print it off tomorrow. This conference is next week. I just al going to keep busy and not think that there is an end. So far it is working... I got a little sad yesterday when I was sitting with Jennifer (the girl that we baptized in June) and she looked up at me and said ''je t'aime soeur Hulet'' and that is when I realized that I am counting down the weeks of French and my fun Congolese friends... But I am not thinking about it now and I won't until I wake up in St G.
I am fine with anything after the flight. I don't think I will be too with it after all of the layovers and all of the flying...
Soeur Woyak and I have been on a gluten free hunt all day. We have about 10 Kilos of rice cakes. Today has been a little stressful for me...
Ok, so... We are going to have another baptism by the end of the transfer. Her name is Mary. She is super cool and she wants to be baptized. Be praying for her. We are setting the date this week and she is so great.
Hmmm... What else is going on.. We went down town the other day. We took some new investigators to an institute activity. So much happened this week but I can't remember any of it... I
I need to buy new strings for my violin and some peg dope. I don't know the technical term for peg dope in English so... to say that in French... It will be interesting.
Has anyone heard from Chelsea Jones? I thought about her the other day and I haven't heard from her since I came to France.
Scooby is doing very well.
I love you all. Be good. Don't want me to come home too much.
